    This is our biggest and boldest project in Washington, DC, and it’s a real showstopper. It’s an impressive 356-unit, seven-story apartment community built around an existing parking garage. Located in the heart of Dulles Station, Makers Rise offers convenient access to the Toll Road, Washington Dulles International Airport, Reston Town Center, and Tysons Corner. This high-density, mixed-use community includes over 5,600 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, and will add another public park to Dulles Station. The units in Makers Rise come in studio, one-, two-, and two-bedroom plus den configurations, and feature high-end finishes.

To start the project, we need:

  • For exterior renderings:
  • 2d drawings in PDF or DWG format,
  • or 3d model in source format;
  • description of facade materials;
  • location (address, Google map link);
  • drone photos or background photos, if available;
  • preferred camera angles;
  • preferred daytime mood (morning, day, evening, sunny, rainy).
  • For interior renderings:
  • 2d drawings in PDF or DWG format,
  • or 3d model in source format;
  • description of design or examples of interior style;
  • location (address, Google link);
  • background photos for window view, if available.

    Once we had all the necessary information, we created a model and provided several camera options

And after the camera was confirmed, we made a few rounds of back and forth of comments and previews and made a final rendering of the exterior renderings

    We followed this work process for all of our renderings, providing three rounds of comments. If additional rounds are required, we can estimate the extra cost.
